Robert Christgau - Lists from Christgau's Record Guide: The '80s (1990)

Lists by single critics or musicians, published in magazines or on websites, have lower priority. The amount of such lists would be impossible to handle.
(However, priority is given to single author lists from books, very famous music critics and artists with albums or songs ranked on Acclaimed Music. Single author lists are also more likely to get priority if they are not limited to a genre or artist.)

Robert Christgau - Lists from Christgau's Record Guide: The '80s (1990)

Post by StevieFan13 »

OK, these are some doozies. In this book, the end features three different lists. One is separated into two, under the heading "Rock Library: Before 1970." It features one set of albums listed under "The Core Collection," and an additional set listed as "Gone But Not Forgotten." After that, he has lists of every album he gave an A or higher for each year of the '80s. There are several compilations scattered throughout, so if you want me to transcribe them, I can leave out all the albums I know are compilations.
