Maybe the best pop album of the Eighties? Kate Bush fine-tunes the production experiments of her previous album. The improvements from The Dreaming to this album is my blueprint for why I urge artists to experiment, even if the short-term product is not brilliant, because skills will only improve in the long-run. (I am not saying The Dreaming is not great, I am simply saying Kate Bush was still a bit unpracticed with production techniques.)
