I'm pretty sure the only Needle Drop lists that are AM eligible are the ones in his classic series (even though I personally think all his lists should be eligible. If Piero Scaruffi's ratings are AM eligible and he's a single critic, then I don't see why Anthony Fantano, who is arguably the single most famous music critic to the under 35 crowd, is not, but I suppose that's a discussion for another day).

We may need clarification from Henrik on this one.

The world changes and although all of us have lived through the Internet era, many still find it difficult to understand that a music critic can review music on YouTube videos for years and have greater international influence than many critics in the written press, so they underestimate his way of communicating.

Henrik said NO when someone posted Robert Christgau's list which is even more credible stand alone critic. I do agree with Panam, we need to be less strict on certain critics and start including them considering the old ones (Tiny Mix Tapes, Drowned in Sound, Pretty Much Amazing, The 405, Pazz & Jop etc.) already buried with the history.

Good point. I got the point of Henrik not considering EOY lists but there is consistency in here. And not to mention the point that perhaps this is more a critic list than most of critic lists nowadays that just want to be "representative".
