Spotify Streams

Wow, I am shocked that Willie and the Poor Boys is the third most streamed album of the 60s with well over on billion streams, behind only Abbey Road and The White Album. It's not even the highest ranking CCR album of 1969 here.

Even crazier is that "Pendulum" is third for 1970 with 775 million streams, way more than Cosmo's Factory.

In this case, it seems having one incredibly popular song will shoot an album up the chart, even if the rest of the tracks are much less popular.

This appears entirely based on each song added up. Fortunate Son has 671 million streams, Down on the Corner has 235 million, but then Poorboy Shuffle only has 2.6 million streams.

If that's what they are doing then it's totally bogus. It just means that loads of people are listening to "Have You Ever Seen The Rain" without playing anything else on Pendulum.

They don't seem to have a year by year list for songs, just for albums.
