General Nominating Rules:
- Every submission must come from a listed country.
- One nomination per person per day. You get a second nomination if you had your night's sleep after your first.
- The song must be unlisted on AM
- No songs that won the real Eurovision...but "also-rans" are allowed.
- Songs can come from any language or year so long as they meet the country criteria
- It must be a "song" with both music and lyrics; no instrumentals (per EBU rules)
- Since this is not a performance-based event the three-minute time limit is not a hard rule
- Nominating continues until either all slots are filled or a motion to start begins. I understand some microstates may be harder to find songs for, but I advise at least trying to go all the way.
First, we need to determine a "host" nation. This is an automatic qualifier from the pool. To pick this, I numbered all the countries 1-52 and put them in an RNG. And the Host was determined as...
Germany!
They are one of the big five, so no sixth automatic qualifier (the EBU has a "Big Five" for their largest donors). In Eurovision fashion, these five slots MUST be filled for the tournament to start:
