This list will count?
What about "song of the year"?
What about "song of the year"?

The Grammys don't go on the spreadsheet, but I believe they are added to the site.
Amusing to see a lot of outraged, anguished questions from commenters on various news sites about why Adele was "snubbed." Answer: because of the Grammys' bizarre eligibility calendar, which runs from October 1 of the previous year to September 30 of the current one, neither "Hello" nor 25 were eligible to be nominated. (It's exactly the same position 1989 was in last year, although "Shake It Off" was released in time to be nominated for Record and Song of the Year.) Rest assured, Adele will clean up in 2017.

I don't know why but Song of the Year doesn't get added to the site. I think it's because the Record of the Year category is seen as the major song award. Record of the Year is for the performance and Song of the Year is for the writing.Bruno wrote:This list will count?

Yeah, that definitely makes sense to me. Record is more for recognizing the final product of a song, whereas the Song category is more for the lyrical content alone. But I would definitely support some sort of very small point system that acknowledges all categories at the show.ordinaryperson wrote:I don't know why but Song of the Year doesn't get added to the site. Have to admit, a better Grammy rundown than expected. But I will remain bitter that every category isn't just D'Angelo and the word "ditto" down the board.

Harold, it would be great if you could add the Grammys to your spreadsheet as well.Harold wrote:The Grammys don't go on the spreadsheet, but I believe they are added to the site.

I'll add the Album of the Year nominees. Since there is eventually going to be a winner, I'll give each a rank of 3.5, then do a final spreadsheet update in February once the winner (should be Kendrick, will probably be Taylor) is announced.Henrik wrote:Harold, it would be great if you could add the Grammys to your spreadsheet as well.Harold wrote:The Grammys don't go on the spreadsheet, but I believe they are added to the site.
