MCCh is based on reviews from critics worldwide. We consider all world music sites that meet these conditions:
- Qualified albums (with numbers, letters, drawings, whatever)
- They publish over 400 reviews per year
- This information is accessible online
Beware of imitations
The weighted average is based on a formula that includes a) the average of ratings and b) the number of sources that have rated the album.
