Now that the awards are in a different section, will they be considered in the "EOY Albums/Songs: List Updates"?

Historically, the "EOY Albums/Songs: List Updates" are what have kept us updated for years on the trends of critics around the world year after year. Now that it was decided that they should go in another section for a better order, can they still be considered for the annual statistics?

Because Awards and Prizes are different than EOY lists , we won't count them together instead we are going to have 2 different spreadsheets for the results of EOY's 2024 (YEARS) and EOY's 2024 (AWARDS AND PRIZES) ,

btw that gave me the idea to change the name from EOY's to Yearly Nominees and Winner in (AWARDS AND PRIZES)

in addition if you see the thread AWARDS AND PRIZES i have tried to add more sources...

i dont know what we are going to do in the future....

I understand. I don't think anyone was interpreting what critic lists are about awards, but what you say is perfectly reasonable. I was also saying this because, whether Harold or any other forum member could stop considering these sources for future EOYs. Thanks for the clarification.

yeah that's true until now in the REGULARLY UPDATED LISTS you could find books with out name of the author's or year , ratings , updated lists (eg an all time list that has been for 3 times ) , REGULARLY UPDATED LISTS (that haven't been updated until present) and awards and prizes that were on EOY simply as EOYs .....

basically i try to organize them by category , add complete information about them and increase the sources with important ones
but that takes a lot of time

but when the update happens it would be easier to create spreadsheets if they are like that
