That song just came out, but it already sounds like it's 10 years dated.

Just listened to American tterroristt, I'm not averse to 9 minutes rap songs but that was a chore, the beat is boring, the flow sucks, the lyrics are downright awful... Don't know what went through their mind.
I don't like Not Like Us either, but it's still miles better than this (and at least it actually is a pop culture event).

I'm going through this list and compared to the one by Paste, Pitchfork has a bit more Electronic tracks ("Maintain the Bliss" by Purelink, "home" by Two Shell) and slightly more inspiring choices ("Silk Chiffon" by MUNA and Phoebe Bridgers, "Somewhere Near Marseilles" by Hikaru Utada or "Super Shy" by NewJeans). But at the same time, it's not well-curated when you have some true head-scratchers like "Poland" by Lil Yachty or "4DATRAP" by 645AR. I assume some writers were riding hard for these tracks in the voting but whoever in charge should have told them NO.

On the other side, the Paste list is a lot better-curated and very indie-centric but I wish there were a couple more inspired choices like "Ditto" by NewJeans. That was a fantastic pick.
