Shirley Bassey - Jezahel: 7
Bassay may be most famous for the kitschy brooding of the Bond songs, but she also excelled at these type of big, showy sing-alongs.

Jane’s Addiction – Three Days: 7
A sprawling song with an actual guitar solo. I don't seem to here those much these days.

CupOfDreams brings us a band that seems to love The Cure as much as your average AM’er. It’s the second appearance by Fugazi in this game.

493. Fugazi – Give Me the Cure
Year: 1988
EP: Fugazi
Biggest Fan: CupOfDreams (#61)

Geoffrey happily brings another Paul McCartney song to the table. It’s the second (semi-)solo song of McCartney here. If you count the two Beatles tracks that also appeared here, McCartney is now the most appearing artist on Biggest Fan Second Edition!

494. Paul & Linda McCartney – Smile Away
Year: 1971
Album: Ram
Biggest Fan: Geoffrey (#652)

493) Fugazi - Give me the Cure : 8,5 (There isn't a single weak song on Fugazi first 2 albums. The only dig I could give it "not as great as Merchandise, Turnover, Blueprint, Waiting Room or Suggestion… but few songs are)
492) Jane's Addiction - Three Days : 8,5 (I should probably give another spin to that album, really love that one ans Stop!)
491) Shirley Bassey - Jezahel : 7
490) John Williams - Harry's Wondrous World : 8 (Quite wondrous indeed)
489) Guns N' Roses - There Was a Time : 7,5
488) Big Black - Bazooka Joe : 8 (A fairly quiet song compared to a lot of the rest of the album. Like early Fugazi, there isn't much I don't love in Big Black's 2 albums so any song from there is likely to rank high. Surprisingly for a song from an Albini band, it's probably the production that keeps that one from getting an even higher grade)
487) Altered Bridge - Isolation : 7
486) Body Count - Cop Killer : 7,5
485) Incredible Bongo Band - Apache : 9
484) Soulfly - In the Meantime : 7,5

Paul & Linda McCartney – Smile Away: 7
Here we find Paul McCartney pretending to be not an ex-member of The Beatles, but of The Beach Boys. It's a very silly song, that I like and also hate in equal measures.

Did someone on this forum once have today’s song as their number 1 of all time or did I dream that? Was it BryanBehar himself and did the song just fall off a lot?

Bryan Behar's had it at #1 in the 2018 poll indeed.
Quite a big dive, I felt like a huge traitor when I moved Either/Or from #1 to #2 in my all time album list...

Indeed a big dive. My #1 song has been consistent for a long time now. My albums have shuffled around, but nothing that ever was #1 has really fallen hard.

Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters: 8
A beautiful song. There's just something about Elton John ballads from this period that hit differently. Also, I'm not sure if Bernie Taupin's lyrics make actual sense, but they are evocative.

Bright pop, but didn't really capture me (didn't know it either, despite the success). I don't like the voice of the singer much.

It’s been too long since we had a classical piece here. Dexter also finally brought us the great Ludwig Van. As per usual, the version on the Spotify playlist is kind of random.

498. Ludwig van Beethoven - Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major, Op. 58: III. Rondo (Vivace)
Year: 1808
Concerto: Piano Concerto No. 4

Not one of the Beethoven songs I recognize, though it sounds characteristically big. I like it, but I'm not as swept away as usual. Might just be unfamiliarity.
