Grr. I bought the magazine with the Top 70 when it came out. If I would have known they were putting out a Top 100 in 2 years, I would have gladly waited for the expanded, better-bound edition. Oh well, it's nice to know they've done a Top 100 for Dylan, following The Beatles. Who's next? The Rolling Stones? Elvis Presley? I hope this is a series they continue (but perhaps on a more frequent basis).

Also, am I the only person who thinks "I Want You" is one of Dylan's greatest songs? First an omission from his recent 3-CD greatest hits album, and now this!

And still no "I'll Be Your Baby Tonight," "Quinn the Eskimo (The Mighty Quinn)," "Sign on the Window," or "Make You Feel My Love"?

For me, the two most glaring omissions are my two favorite songs from John Wesley Harding: "As I Went Out One Morning" and, especially, "Dear Landlord," one of the greatest hey-there-God songs ever written (by Dylan, who's done a few, or anyone else).
