This is one of the best years ever for female artists IMO (I also thought the same thing last year), so I'm not really surprised. I didn't even notice how female heavy this list was until you pointed it out.

This Lucy Dacus album is a force in EOY lists. It seemed to come out of nowhere, for me at least.

I'm not a huge fan of this list, but it's nice to see this show up. It'll do much better on the forum than with the critics.

It's fun watching the battle between "no tears left to cry" and "thank u, next." I think both could end up in the top ten.
