Hey, it's their list. If they think any Skid Row or Extreme album is better than The Bends, that's just their opinion, is all. I do like seeing Innuendo make the cut. And it's funny how even in a list designed to go against the traditional "best of the '90s" list, they still have to concede that Nevermind is pretty fucking terrific (and their #1 isn't a particularly controversial pick either).

(One of the rules they said at the beginning was "No Trip Hop, No Baggy, No Britpop," only for me to become very confused when Suede, Manic Street Preachers, and Oasis all showed up. Then I checked again and there was a little footnote: "Okay, maybe there's a few, but only ones that truly rocked our world." Fair enough, then.)

s/t was 1993. Man Dog Star was 1994. Maybe they couldn't decide which they liked better. Anyway, no Nick Cave so automatic disqualification.

My mistake. It was actually the self-titled.

Classed in the spreadsheet under David Coverdale & Jimmy Page, just in case (yes, anticipating the potential mixups, a reflex at this point :D )

Why am I not even surprised anymore? At least, it doesn't look like they managed to find a Nugent album for this decade.

Hum, looks like in the long term they're getting their revenge over :character-beavisbutthead:
