✅ Musikexpress (Germany) - The 50 Best Songs by The Cure (2012)

Post by StevieFan13 »

Congratulations, Henrik! Here's a 30+ song Cure list! It's two people but I hope that doesn't stop you from including it. Even if it puts "Close to Me," "Just Like Heaven," and "Boys Don't Cry" way too low (seriously, none of them breach the top 40?).

No "Lovesong" either? This list is utterly bizarre.

The other one has Lovesong, but at the cost of Close to Me and Boys Don't Cry. Oh well. Never look a gift horse in the mouth.

Also, my personal favorite, "Lullaby", which isn't that personal, is not included on any of the lists. I am not as happy as I hoped to be.

And I need to think about the eligibility. So far, I have the artists lists by two writers on hold (maybe the only similar case is a Van Morrison list). If Musikexpress did an all staff list it would surely look different (although that doesn't mean this list is uninteresting).

I'll let you think it over. Still looking for those other lists you brought up. I think these guys deserve a pass because they did it twice and are in editorial positions at both publications, but again, your call.
