A decent list, though I really question the author's Daft Punk knowledge when they write something like this...

""Robot Rock," the first single from the group's 2005 album Human After All, sounded miles away from the 80s funk and house throwbacks that defined the duo's earlier releases"

Want to know why it's funny? Because "Robot Rock" is little more than a sample from Breakwater's "Release the Beast" looped over and over, a song that is, you guessed it, an 80s funk tune.

Some random other comments, their top 10 is incredibly solid except for "Robot Rock", I'm glad they didn't go full contrarian and purposely rank "Get Lucky" super low just to piss people off (but at #34 the song is still too low for my liking), "Television Rules the Nation" isn't a great song, but the Black Sabbath meets techno guitar riff that drives the song forward is still enjoyable. At #88 "Giorgio by Moroder" was robbed. Also I have a strong aversion to "Technologic" and it's probably the only Daft Punk song that I really dislike. Seeing at at #49 is a mixed bag, it should be a lot lower (in my humble opinion), but given that it's so popular I'm thankful that it didn't place any higher.

Listen, Get Lucky is probably going to stay neatly parked in the AM top 100 - though I haven't checked the list since I posted it, so refresh me: is One More Time #1?

Yupp, "One More Time" is number 1. Great song.

I know this, but that's not the problem. The problem is the GL's position on this list.

Even if it was not # 1, but at least top 5.

I might be the only one (on here) that isn't a big fan of Get Lucky and think it's properly placed.

Not the only one, bootsy. It's by no means a "bad" song, but it definitely never sounded very unique to me, and I always wished "Giorgio By Moroder" had been the track to get all the acclaim. (Then again, they ranked "Giorgio" near the bottom, so they apparently saw even less in that than "Get Lucky." But I was never much of a DP fan until "RAM," so I'm probably not the best person to judge.)

Yeah that's how I feel about it, there is nothing unique about it. It's not a requirement that it be unique to be good but it's just not a stand out song to me. It's catchy and retro but the quality isn't there for me.

I actually didn't know Daft Punk produced Black Skinhead. In hindsight, it makes sense.

You can hear their background vocals on that song when they say 'Black'. They also produced I Am A God and Send It Up on that album.

Giorgio by Morodor at number 88 - lol. That's one of the most inexplicable placements I've seen on a single artist list.

This list basically pulls down its pants and takes a massive shit all over Random Access Memories. Only one of its songs is in the top 25! And of course, the ridiculously low placements of "Get Lucky" , "Giorgio by Morodor", and basically every song on that album that isn't "Instant Crush". It appears that the creators of this list are very traditional Daft Punk fans. I'm the opposite, I love RAM while I don't enjoy a lot of their earlier work that much.
