Tsunami Edizioni books (2012 to 2016, mostly heavy metal lists)

A little treasure trove from Italia I uncovered. Tsunami Edizioni is an editor apparently specialized in hard rock, heavy metal and related genres (from punk to progressive rock).

Eight books in their catalogue (available by clicking on "Catalogo" at the top of the page) in particular are specifically titled "I 100 migliori dischi" (The 100 Best Albums) and are dedicated to the following music genres: Glam Metal, Hard Rock 1968-1979, Power Metal, Death Metal, Italian Progressive Rock, NWOBHM, Thrash and AOR - the last three not being mentioned on the editor's website but an Amazon research showed me that they do exist. Perhaps it's the tip of the iceberg, I wouldn't be surprised if there were "selective discographies" of some kind in the other books they published.

However, samples are available for the first five of the eight books, and they all cover the table of contents of the books, which allow us to see the lists in their entirety. Unfortunately, the NWOBHM, Thrash and AOR books aren't available; I hope they'll be in the future, or if someone do own the books, please feel free to post the lists here. Done already - I've edited my message in the undecided thread twice already for the Lorenzo Barbagli prog rock book I posted before and for these ones, since no matter what Henrik has not yet looked them up

I try to cut Henrik slack since I know the dude is busy and has a life to live like the rest of us, but I wish there was some way of knowing he'd at least seen the lists I've posted since he last gave his sign-off.

There's also the fact that he has health issues. All of this, plus the update he's working on, is quite a toll to pay.

That's why when I post lists, I just add them into the undecided thread and don't wait for an answer. Henrik will get there whenever he will. I'm always ready to help in case Henrik needs any help, and I know I'm not alone.

You definitely aren't. Given all of that, the guy can get to them whenever he wants to get to them. He's a good man.
