I have a bunch of transcribed Uncut lists in my hard drive. I'll post them for you. Thanks!

ps: it seems the list of Bruce Springsteen's best songs was already posted in the forum. Also, is the list of best songs of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Paul Weller and John Lennon eligible if includes songs from The Birthday Party, The Jam/Style Council and The Beatles, respectively?

I know the AM forumers' choice is "There Is a Light That Never Goes Out" (the 500 Days of Summer's effect?) but "How Soon Is Now" is just as, if not more, magnificent, both sonically and lyrically. The song is glorious in its portrayal gloom and alienation. There's a few good songs left out like "Ask" and "That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore" but cool list though "William, It was Really Nothing" should have been placed higher.

Re: Uncut (UK) - 30 best songs: The Smiths, The Clash & Pink Floyd

Post by Henrik »

Thanks Dexter!

The top 30 lists (or more) are eligible for AM. I think it's the Nick Cave, Paul Weller and John Lennon lists that I haven't added to my spreadsheets yet.
