Merle Haggard's Okie from Muskogee
Dolly Parton's Coat of Many Colors
Roger Miller's King of the Road
Garth Brooks' The Dance
Loretta Lynn's Coal Miner Daughter
Glen Campbell's Wichita Lineman

True WTFS:
How is The Everly Brothers' Bye Bye Love a true candidate for this list? I'm not entirely okay with Ray Charles' You Don't Know Me, too.
How in the world is Taylor Swift's Mean above Coal Miner's Daughter?!
Where is Johnny Cash's Hurt?

I believe I had posted the song list. RS isn't a country outlet, but there is a RS Country section on its website. So, that makes it less cut and dry. I'd welcome it, as country, overall, is largely ignored on best-of lists.

And even then, they do review country albums and songs.

Wouldn't the list (if it's eligible) only influence the placement of country songs relative to one anther though?
Also, I'm definitely sad to see "Hurt" didn't make the list. And I would have loved to see "Wichita Lineman" higher.

Not eligible. A country section on the website does not mean that RS is a country magazine. I hope you're ok with this babydoll.
