I gather you didn't click on the link? ;)

I know you said for some other list that, if it passed as the source's official one, it was OK (may have been a decade list, though). I've seen some that combined reader input with staff. (i.e. that Guitar Mag Best Songs of the 80s and others).

Yes, sorry. I didn't have time to look any deeper at the time of my last post.

This is alright with me. They didn't say that the songs on their list were ascribed points directly from the online input, just that the staff listened to their readers' before deciding.

Okie- I added it to the summary. It may pay to find out how a couple of other reader-influenced lists were exactly compiled. ;)
