A nomination just making it in the six-month deadline:

Tell Me Tomorrow by Diane Birch.

This list needs more pop-country.

Damn, great stuff!

The new entries are so good, that I might not vote for my own nomination ...

Strong Pool:

Band of Skulls-Asleep at the Wheel was released c. November, so it is less than six months old, making it eligible.

If Himalayan is like this, I am looking forward to it.

I don't know how different the album version is, or how lenient we're being on this stuff, but the Temples' "Shelter Song" was released as a single in 2012.

RockyRaccoon, even though it's been released in 2012, it wasn't very noticeable at the time. I particularly only heard it at the end of last year, so I guess it's not that case when a song has been really famous way before the album, like M.I.A.'s "Bad Girls". To me, it is acceptable!
