Why me specifically? I'm not even involved in this discussion! :D

(And I only found this thread while checking the eligibility of the Vinyl Factory with 'vinyl' as the search term, not looking up myself, honestly)

I would buy it but it's sold out on the publisher's site- I might treat myself to the Bowie one though https://shop.anthem.co.uk/all-products/ ... -bible.htm

I'd forgotten all about this but I've just had another look at the site- the main book's still out of stock sadly. Happily though, the Bowie one's in the post 👨‍🎤

Long Live Vinyl Bowie's here! But the only ranking of his albums in the mag is credited to a single author, I imagine that excludes it from being added to AM? That said, the writer does refer to "we" in justifying the albums' placing....

Just purchased it, was about to PM you but it won't let me attach the file :( I'll transcribe the contents on the 25th if not before as I'm off then as long as the single-author lists would be eligible?

If it’s a book and based on the author(s) preference then it’s definitely eligible.

Btw, several “Various Artists” albums are already ranked in AM (some that are mentioned in these lists), so they should be eligible. You can find them under “Various Artists”. For obvious reasons “Various Artists” is not a ranked artist.

yeap :romance-kisscheek: , if a list is eligible it doesn't matter if we already have the albums/songs in the site because they can be added
