Conpletely- you feel the hurt just as intently as when the sports team you follow loses. The blood still rushes to my face whenever I as much as think about the bulk of Around the Sun. Steve's imperial decade for me was 70/71-80 (And yes, without judging too much, I Just Called does suck, sorry IJC & ATS fans).

Moonbeam, what more can I say other than to add my appreciation for your tremendous presentation! I can only hope that the countdown concludes with the lyrics "I'm cool, well I'm no fool" and "Now you're unemployed, all non-void" :D

Gnarly that White Lines, Temptation and ...Revolver have showed up already though :(

EDIT: I thought 'gnarly' was negative in the 80s, Google says not. When bad meant good, what the heck did people use to say for bad in the 80s?

I’m hoping for either “The pleasure, the privilege is mine”/“I’m wanted no more” or “You’re just like a dream”/“Found myself alone, alone, alone”

We have finally arrived at songs that won over half of their head-to-head matchups. The fact this break point occurs well over halfway through the songs (#124 out of 300) shows that there was more of a consensus of the top songs than the bottom songs, unsurprisingly.

I'm amazed that Moonbeam liked it more than 2 other non-AC/DC songs; and that, from what I can tell, Hymie is not a "hater" of anything so far.

:D Much more apt quote, respect for that and your unimpeachable taste, CB! I'm also relieved there's another top voter of it, I was fearing it was the #1 that missed the 200 but that should be enough to escape that fate!

Either of those would be a fitting winner though it took me time to get the second one, I had mistaken it for the equally great "Just like a dream, no end and no beginning"

This is not a mistake - there were a few people who only ranked their favorites among the 300. For these users, I would then include a tie for last place for the unranked songs they were familiar with but didn't rank. Otherwise, they would actually be harming the songs in the bottom half of their rankings rather than helping them. This way, their ranked songs get credit for being favored to the other songs they didn't rank but were familiar with. For these users, if there were enough unranked songs, none would qualify among the bottom 10% and therefore they won't be among the hate group for any song.

Favorite surprise so far : Waiting Room in the top 200, I expected it to be close to the bottom ! Nice to finally see some love for Fugazi throughout various topics in the forum.

Worst surprise so far : Temptation so low ! I guess it depends on which version you stumbled on first, but that song is wonderful in any case !

Biggest surprise I don't have a strong opinion of : didn't expect Atlantic City to end up that "low" !
