I much prefer the Beatles, but this was a case where the matchups just weren't in their favor.

1. OK Computer by Radiohead (25th all time) vs. Abbey Road by The Beatles (38th all time)
2. The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd (27th all time) vs. Revolver by The Beatles (30th all time)

Interesting pattern that 10 out of 13 people so far have voted for one of the Beatles albums.

Abbey Road and Revolver

My two favorite Beatles albums. Revolver even won my last all time tourney. Radiohead has really dropped for me lately when a decade ago OK Computer is top ten for me. I don’t know what it is, I’m starting to like their later work more than their classics. Some of the stuff on OK Computer feels like style over substance to me now.

Dark Side missed its chance to be one of my favorites when I didn’t hear it in high school. Pink Floyd’s most famous stuff sounds to me like “The world as an alienated teenager sees it”.

Agree with this take. As much as I like DSOTM, the lyrics really have their ups and downs on that album. The album's sound, experimentation and cohesion win me over, but let's face it, Pink Floyd's lyrics at their worst are bad high school poetry.

Can see where you're coming from with Money. But Time? Those are the words of men who've been through far more than they'd have liked and come out the other side with weary wisdom.

I agree Dark Side isn’t as extreme in its teenagerness as The Wall. But my favorite Floyd has always been Wish You Were Here.
