Forum error messages
My webhost have upgraded the php version and this must what is causing the error messages. I haven’t updated the phpBB installation in a long time. I keep my fingers crossed that this will fix things...
In any case, this will take a while.

Re: Forum error messages
I can't see certain posts unless I quote them, but that doesn't work for images (for example, I can't see who finished #2 and #1 in the artist poll).

Re: Forum error messages
I had problems with the phpBB installation update. I replaced a file (although I don't understand why that worked) and now it looks like the forum works again. There might be some problems still though. If you find anything else than wrong colours or other style changes, then please report them here while I am going to sleep...

Re: Forum error messages
It may be that they've always looked like this and I'm just noticing this now, but the icons to the left of topic titles look very fuzzy.

Re: Forum error messages
There’s a phpBB logo on the top left corner on the forum page, which i’m a hundred percent sure was never there. Also the main colors on this page have turned to a lighter shade of blue, kinda like cotton candy. Also, it looks like pinned topics are just grouped with every other topic in the music, music, music thread.

^^Oh wait I didn’t read the comment about style changes. Is this going to be how the forum looks permamently now? Just curious of course.

Yes, I hope this could be fixed. If not I would need to do a lot of editing...

Re: Forum error messages
I'm sorry, but I have no idea what's wrong. I have tried to create a new bbcode that does the same thing, but with no luck. Also, you're supposed to be able to do the same thing with the img tag, like this:
Code: Select all
[img=100x100]Link to image[/img]
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!

Re: Forum error messages
The way I see it, after the new phpbb installation update, image resizing somehow doesn't seem to be supported anymore. I can't figure out why. I've googled for answers but no one else seem to have this problem.

Re: Forum error messages
I think I got it now. It looks like the problem is a blank space.
This bbcode doesn't work anymore
But this one does
My guess is that the equal sign has always been the proper way to do it, but there was an automatic converter from blank space to an equal sign, that doesn't exist anymore.
Does anyone have a better solution than that eveyone go back and edit their posts, replacing " " with "=", as in the codes above?

Re: Forum error messages
I’m done for now with the cosmetic changes (colours and stuff), but let me know if you see anything that looks bad or weird.

Replacing blank space with equal works but it's a lot of editing to do...

I've begun to edit the Books... thread. Little by little I will try to edit all my previous posts (I use a lot the imgsize feature).

Re: Forum error messages
I use this old topic to say that I'm aware that it's only possible to post quick replies right now. I need to make a phpBB upgrade, but I don't have time for this tonight. Maybe not until the weekend. I am so sorry for the inconvenience!!!

Re: Forum error messages
The forum is up again!!! I am so sorry for the inconvenience (again)!
I tried to make an "automatic update", which would detect colour settings etc., but it failed for reasons I don't understand. I had to do a full update with the standard style settings. I will change colours etc. during the weekend.
Please let me know if there are any functions that are not working as they should.

I have this problem (on mobile only). The drop down menu doesn't show properly when I click the three dots to quote a message. Anyone else have the same problem? The person posting about this issue says its only happening for admin users.
