I second the greatest TV shows of all time and also the greatest movie performances, movie songs, and TV theme songs.

TV characters, TV episodes, video game characters, TV/Movie deaths

Now that the idea got into my brain I REALLY like the idea of deaths. Though obviously it would be a spoileriffic vote.

TV shows has been announced several times, but it still hasn't happened. Maybe after the film poll later this year?

I forgot about The Wire. (Not that it's a final word, definitive list anyway.) I actually don't watch Game of Thrones**, and was tempted to mix in a list of Greatest Shows Ever to cover personal blind spots. One of the problems with that (besides 60 Minutes) is that theme songs have typically been de-emphasized this century, so I wasn't sure what current shows have negligible theme songs à la Breaking Bad.

**I thought it was too depressing and nasty after a handful of episodes, and my wife, who's read the books, said that's very much how it goes. With some unintentional humor I said, "Well at least Sean Bean is there as the moral center."

EDIT: And anyway, I screwed up, because The Wire was on the Paste list. Now I've included a list by MSN, Observer, and CBS News (nothing new with the latter, though it's nice to know that more people out there like the Pokémon theme song).

EDIT: Now I've changed the post altogether
