What do you hope to do in 2018?

- Finish a list of the most acclaimed comics and TV shows
- Experience more media
- Learn how to read better
- Have a better online diet

- Read all of Thomas Pynchon's novels
- Be up to date with new music as it comes out so I don't have to rush to make a year end list
- Play all of the games that are in Play That Game's top 300
- Discover more music
- Participate on the forum more

Great goals, esp. #4. Keep us posted.

I'm committed to deciding whether or not 2018 will be my retirement year. I love my job, but 2017 was marked by setbacks and frustration. At this point I'd need another 3 to 5 years to make up lost ground and that's a long horizon at my age. On the other hand, the longer I keep working, the more records I can buy in retirement.

My main goal is to get at least two new screenplays finished (as in written and fully edited to the best of my abilities), and then to apply to film school around November if I succeed at the first goal. The first goal includes the one I'm halfway through at the moment (on its fourth full draft).
