The Importance of Documentation

Post by letmeintomyzone »

Dear AcclaimedMusic,

I have been going through some very rough personal problem, depressing thoughts, anxiety, and a lack of support from my family, have depressed me, and I thought about Best of the Year, especially since following Metacritic's EOY lists, and I wish for more documentation from the past, notably, it would be nice to get something like Metacritic for 2001 and up, and it seems to be unavailable, and I regret that, due to wanting to know something like the most acclaimed TV shows of 2003, and it seems like the more we go on, the more knowledge of what happens critically is available, and the past is left behind.

Hey man. I'm here to help, pm me if you want, but know that there's only so much I can do. Have you tried seeking medical help? If documentation helps you cope with your personal problems the link will provide the most acclaimed TV shows of 2003 according to Metacritic:
http://www.metacritic.com/browse/tv/sco ... ected=2003
Just change the year in the link to find out the best TV shows for the other years, it goes as far as 1995.

Thank you, and I want to look into best of the year lists, and due to the recent noting of documentation in more recent sides of the internet, and people coming from all across every aisle to give their opinion, the thought of seeing critics count down their best shows of 2003 seems unlikely, and I have some archives of Metacritic counting down critics list from 2005 to 2009.

I am wondering to hope to succeed, and I went through a rough patch today, but I hope to at least see a list of the most acclaimed TV shows before my life's work is done.

So sorry to hear that things haven't been going so well. I'm going through a rough patch right now too, and working on my own projects has helped me get distracted from everything and filled me with a sense of accomplishment at times.

I really hope things get better for you. As you know, I'm working on my own project for the most acclaimed TV shows, and I'm probably not the only one doing this. You'll probably see a list of the most acclaimed shows sometime; if its not from us then from someone else, so I wouldn't worry :)

Since you're interested in documentation, here's a list of the most acclaimed shows per year (according to my current research). Each show corresponds to the year that they first aired. I went as far back as 1950, since past this year the level of acclaim starts getting really shaky and uncertain...

2015 | Better Call Saul
2014 | Fargo
2013 | Orange is the New Black

Thanks.

I also came closer to finding the critics poll, it's called something called Television Week and the website has some old lists,

http://www.tvweek.com/in-depth/2008/02/ ... l-results/
http://www.tvweek.com/in-depth/2007/07/ ... 007-serie/

but it's not fully realized with some older lists being 404 links.

I'm still hoping to find older lists, as I do like finding EOY lists that predate this decade.

I'm still hoping to do the comics list, as I do feel like comics are a ignored medium (see how they aren't on your profile icon)
