Films of the 2000s: 2000 (2016 edition)

I think I start this poll today because I may be busy on the first of January. So let's start the whole new round of yearly films polls. The super final of the first round (hosted by BleuPanda) is still going on (and you still have two days left to nominate your favorite movies and after that vote for everything you've seen in the final). But in this thread it's time to vote for your favorite movies of 2000.

The rules:

You can post a list of anywhere between 1 and 20 films (or more, but only 20 will be counted) from the period we're covering. The deciding factor in terms of release dates is the RYM list and the top 15 of each period will go on to the final top 150. The deadline is 31st of January. I will open the 2001 poll on 15th of January (and the 2002 poll on 1st of February) so there are practically two polls open simultaneously.

The points scheme is as follows:

However, these are the maximum amounts of points. If you don't specifically state that you want to give (some of) your films fewer points, I will assume the standard scheme.

The deciding factor in terms of release dates is the RYM list

I guess there are only very few movies of which release years differ among IMDb and RYM. The IMDb release date is more reliable in case of stability (it's harder to chance the date but I don't think it's problem on RYM anymore). So let's stay with RYM and if someone notice an error we can debate about that (and maybe chance it on RYM).

So glad I made it in time for the 2000s poll. I have just finished ranking, loosely, all of the films I have seen. My earlier films are a bit thin, but this I can do.

Greatest gainers were American Psycho (which didn't get a single point last time ) and two movies that just missed the final: Battle Royale (Is it because of Hunger Games? ) and Sexy Beast (People have maybe (re)watched this after seeing Under the Skin.)
Biggest dropper was Taste of Others (last time #7 now #28). It's Henrik's and Romain's #1 of the year and neither of them voted this time. Tillsammans [Together] doubled it's rank (last time #13 now #27).
