Now to spend the next month watching as many of the final 24 films I still need to see. I'm happy to have reached 76, I was at only 55 or so about a month ago.

Sorry I didn't get back to anybody sooner about whether I was going to host the final poll. Have been swamped with college work lately. Should have more free time during my fall break in a few weeks. Thanks for doing this BleuPanda!

It sometimes takes some time to understand which films are meant by all these strictly English titles.

Looking forward to fill in the master list though!

^Sorry about that.

Also, while I'm happy to do this, I'll need someone to explain how the formula works.

No need to apologise for that, quite understandable. :) Besides, some titles are actually written in their original language. Just had to think for a bit with 'A Man Escaped'. Probably because the original French title is much longer.

I've seen about 55. Need to figure out any must-sees. I have a Chaplin collection with Limelight so might as well watch that.

Let's see, highest TSPDT rated films I haven't seen:
250 In A Lonely Place
303 All That Heaven Allows
334 Kiss Me Deadly
361 A Star Is Born

Also I seem to have checked off Imitation of Life in iCheckMovies but can't remember a single thing about it. Might want to rewatch.

One week in, and only Gillingham has submitted. I hope that's a sign of everyone perfectly refining their lists and checking out more films as opposed to me not receiving e-mails.

Two weeks in, Gillingham and bonnielaurel are the only two to submit so far. My own list is now at 84. Between the three of us only one film hasn't received a vote. Also, I still need the formula for combining results.

I'll submit my list and some instructions about formula this weekend (I've seen 81 movies so far). The score of the movie seen by one person is calculated 2100/(20+rank) and not seen movies get the same score than movie in the middle of the voters list. I'll explain better in the email.

Strange that they are coming in this slowly.
Of course some of the lists will come in at the last moment, but I still miss quite some regulars of the yearly topics.

About a week left, and Stephan has been added to the pile. 5 contributors so far, I hope we see a lot more.

We now have 8 people who have submitted. If you believe you have submitted but are not on this list, something has gone wrong:
bonnielaurel
Gillingham
Michel
Stephan
BleuPanda
Charlie Driggs
Miguel
Petri

Harold makes 9.

Henrik makes 14. Less than 2 days left to submit!

Also, is it okay if I mess around with the score a little? I'm keeping the numbers the same, but treating the lowest score everyone gave as a 0. In other words, I've created an imaginary film that received the worst score from everyone, and then subtracted its combined score from the others. That way, last place has 95.8 points instead of the rather meaningless 432.0, i.e. it only gained 95.8 points from the minimum possible. The extra 300~ is meaningless data that every film received regardless of placement, so I find it strange to use when comparing votes gained. This method better shows proportions.

I guess the other method shows it from the top down (i.e. total score out of amount of voters multiplied by 100), but I think going bottom up looks better. Any opinions?

Less than a day now, people. If you're making a list but haven't finished, please notify me. I'd like to include as many lists as possible, but I also want to start on time if this is all I'm going to receive.

I'm pretty sure time is up, but I'm not going to start posting the results until the morning. If you get your list in by, say, 8 a.m. central time tomorrow morning I'll add it in.
