2000 was a very good year for music and this list makes it clear. Wouldn't it be better to put "Yellow" instead of "Shiver"?

"Shiver" is a better song - the best on that album, in fact. As great as "Yellow" is, Spin made the right choice here.

A seriously strong top 10, hard to argue with any of those. QOTSA too low but that's about the only drawback.

#17-22 is a fine run too.
