The book features the 200 most defining albums in the genre (according to the author) that are covered extensively, as well as an "encores" list of 100 albums which are not reviewed. Sergio Guillén Barrantes is a journalist on radio and the Web and musician specialized in melodic rock.

I have annotated the entries when the band's name can conflict with other acclaimed bands of the same name - being familiar with Henrik's album spreadsheet I can detect them easily.
