Louder Sound - The 30 best British Blues Rock albums ever (2019)

Post by Pierre »

Published earlier today. And now you have the answer to the question you never asked yourselves: "Is Jimi Hendrix British Blues Rock"?

I mean, I understand where it's coming from, but it's still kinda off. An unanswered question, however: what the heck is Fleetwood Mac's Mr. Wonderful doing there (instead of another I mean)? It's the weakest of the Peter Green era!

I'd say so - based in England (at least circa AYE they were) and with two out of three members British. I always think Mitchell and Redding are fairly overlooked - they aren't the only reason but they were one of the reasons Band of Gypsys isn't nearly as lauded as the three Experience albums.
