I like this a lot!

PS Pierre, it does make me sad you never sent a list in to the best songs poll. I like your taste!

A bit odd to see Pleased to Meet Me in there, I guess it's 3 years before they broke up but it doesn't feel like it's a late album. Or by this criteria, just throw The Queen is Dead or even Nevermind the Bollocks in.

Also can't understand how they can pick Era Vulgaris over Like Clockwork.

I once played with the idea of setting up some sort of poll for albums made by artists past a certain age, to look at latter-day works that are sometimes ignored. This idea is similar, although it takes the term "past-their-prime" in a different way.

In that sense Era Vulgaris is an interesting choice, as it seemed an album from a band that run its course at the time, but they regained their popularity after some time off with Like Clockwork... Era Vulgaris is an "in between their primes" work.

Fun list, although I know very few of it.

Very funny to see Mogwai in with the rest of these since it's ten years since the listed album and they haven't slowed their roll at all.
