I think I shared this list before. I've always thought Complex counted as at least strongly rap-inclined, but Henrik has said in the past that since it also covers rock and R&B, the rap-only lists are ineligible.

That rule applies only for Year End lists I presume.StevieFan13 wrote:I think I shared this list before. I've always thought Complex counted as at least strongly rap-inclined, but Henrik has said in the past that since it also covers rock and R&B, the rap-only lists are ineligible.

You sure? Genre lists from non-genre sites have been a long-standing issue.mowino wrote:That rule applies only for Year End lists I presume.StevieFan13 wrote:I think I shared this list before. Indeed, you shared it before (I just checked in the genre album lists from non genre sources thread) but the date for this one according to mowino is Oct 25 2017. Was it updated?StevieFan13 wrote:You sure? Otherwise, I'm afraid Stevie is right, the rule applies to every lists, not just EOY ones. I believed Complex (which I admit I never use) was a rap website. Errors mine!
