A little odd that 99 Problems isn't #1 (second place on their 2000s list, one of the highest-ranking '00s tracks on the 500 Songs list) and that Empire State of Mind is so low, but overall pretty solid.

I’d argue Jay-Z isn’t as prominent on Umbrella as he is in the other two. Plus Crazy in Love plays an important early role in the Jay/Beyoncé story.

I was listening to "Big Pimpin" and "I I Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me)" and I totally forgot what a bunch of monsters those tracks were. Those productions were ridiculous.

Jay has just always had great taste in producers. A guy who can claim he’s been produced by The Neptunes, Kanye West, Timbaland, AND Rick Rubin at different points is a legend, and it helps his back catalogue really hold up all these years later.
