I'm very happy to see Janet getting her due with at least 3 entries! "Rhythm Nation" should be higher, though.

77. Patrice Rushen, "Forget Me Nots"
75. Eurythmics, "Here Comes the Rain Again"
67. Kraftwerk, "Computer Love"
61. New Order, "Ceremony"

:D

64. Prince, "1999"

Glad it made the cut, but this is Prince's best single, so it should be much, much higher!

And even happier with this! It's about time the best song from True Blue got some love.

This is a truly awesome list! Love the high placements of "Call Me", "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)", "Genius of Love", "Last Night a DJ Saved My Life" and "Push It". I also love the dominance of Prince and Madonna - they truly owned the 80s.

Agreed, Moon. Also, I like that Slant didn't give the usual props to "Like a Virgin" (and "Material Girl," to an extent)- good to see a few M tracks that don't get as much love as those, getting it on this list.
