OK, so:
- I guess Green Day don't count, but the Chilis do. Fine. But...
- Why were the Chilis left off the songs list? Matter of fact, how come the songs list didn't just have the best song from each album?
- For that matter, did they NEED three Korn albums and a Limp Bizkit joint instead of, say, Ten or In Utero?
- If Limp Bizkit and Korn are considered metal when they combine rap and rock, how come the Beastie Boys don't count? Too good?

It's a bit too nu metal oriented for my tastes, as you noticed, and there are some odd choices for the priorities in 1991 and 1993, and also elsewhere: this must be the first list that has this Metallica albums galore for the 1990s (I'm surprised they didn't find room for Garage Inc. when they did for ReLoad, and as far as their live albums go, Live Shit is probably better than S&M, although the latter is more accessible).
