Misplaced Childhood is actually my dad's favorite album. I'm not really inclined to agree, but I've heard worse.

I don't have much opinion about 80's prog. I've listened very little of it (and most sounded like fantasy-themed synthpop/synthrock/AOR), including this album once, but I have no recollection of it.
