Here's a fun game: guess how many spots it takes for them to get to Tom Sawyer!
- Parachute Club - Rise Up
- Lee Aaron - What'cha Do to My Body
- Tom Cochrane and Red Rider - Big League
- Les B.B. - Fais Attention
- The Box - Closer Together
- Streetheart - One More Time
- Skinny Puppy - Smothered Hope
- Gerry Boulet - Toujours Vivant
- Toronto - Your Daddy Don't Know
- The Northern Pikes - Teenland
- Red Rider - Lunatic Fringe
- April Wine - Just Between You and Me
- Michel Rivard - Je Voudrais Voir la Mer
- Strange Advance - We Run
- Headpins - Don't It Make You Feel
- Kim Mitchell - Go for a Soda
- Luc de Larochellière - Amère América
- Sarah McLachlan - Vox
- Images in Vogue - Lust for Love
- Indio - Hard Sun
- Joe Bocan - Repartir à zéro
- Spoons - Nova Heart
- Dolbie Stéréo - Pied de poule
- Platinum Blonde - Crying Over You
- Robbie Robertson - Somewhere Down the Lazy River
- Leonard Cohen - First We Take Manhattan
- Gino Vannelli - Black Cars
- Honeymoon Suite - New Girl Now
- Doug & the Slugs - Makin' It Work
- Pursuit of Happiness - I'm an Adult Now
- Neil Young - Rockin' in the Free World
- Maestro Fresh Wes - Let Your Backbone Slide
- Daniel Lavoie - Ils s’aiment
- Alannah Myles - Black Velvet
- Payolas - Eyes of a Stranger
- Luba - Let It Go
- Marjo - Chats sauvages
- Loverboy - Working for the Weekend
- Glass Tiger - Don't Forget Me When I'm Gone
- Northern Lights - Tears Are Not Enough
- Carole Pope and Rough Trade - High School Confidential
- Gowan - (You're A) Strange Animal
- Roch Voisine - Hélène
- Mitsou - Bye Bye Mon Cowboy
- Men Without Hats - Safety Dance
- Céline [Dion] - Incognito
- Bryan Adams - Summer of '69
- Rush - Tom Sawyer
- Martha & the Muffins - Echo Beach
- Corey Hart - Sunglasses at Night
Lots of local favorites and a few obvious choices. Interesting how they went with First We Take Manhattan instead of the more famous Hallelujah (personally, while Hallelujah is a beautiful song that even after being overplayed to hell and back still sounds amazing, I might like First We Take Manhattan even better).
Music is a world within itself, with a language we all understand - Sir Duke (1976)
