Interesting list. I'm satisfied by the balance of commercial and critical successes. Definitely didn't see that #1 coming (it strikes me as some kind of hybrid of the London and New York lists - as I recall, "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" topped the New York list), and I like seeing "The Magnificent Seven" all the way at #11.

Should the Time Out cities be treated as separate sources or do they have anything in common? I mean, do they share staff or articles?

I think separate - they're very city-specific. The sites all share a basic layout, but the content from site to site differs. They have British staffers in England, New Yorkers in New York, etc.
