By hip-hop writer Ben Westhoff. Full title "Dirty South: OutKast, Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy, and the Southern Rappers Who Reinvented Hip-Hop". The "Recommended Listening" section is pretty short (22 albums in total!) but I thought it was worth posting, as Southern rap is usually the forgotten scene in the family... Side note: since when is Aaliyah hip-hop?

I loooovvvveee southern rap and I'm so glad it's getting a boost (especially OutKast, who were already doing well for themselves and are probably going to do even better after the update). Between this and the Taste of Country lists, the American South has been doing alright on the forum for the last two days.Pierre wrote:I take it that you're happyStevieFan13 wrote:Yay yay yay yay yay
