Post by o.m. »

Hi Henrik, I know this list is already included in the database (although there is no link and the title is in bold in your index) but I need it for a personal project and I was wondering what the entire list looks like. I found the Top 30 on a forum but no way to find the rest... Can you please post it here please? I send you what I found on the forum mentionned above...

Wow thank you so much Henrik, I take this opportunity to encourage you in your project of expanding your database...I always told you that I'm in possession of virtually dozens of "dance" lists and rap lists also...I know you're busy with other important sources to include but if you want to expand your database to these genres, don't hesitate to contact me... This full JOCKEY SLUT list in addition to the playlists posted by Stefano definitely made my day... :music-listening:

You're welcome!

You know that if the dance and rap lists you've got are from books or genre-specific sources then they are eligible for AM, don't you?

Most of them are actually...I got for instance the copy of XXL and their 40 Years of rap issue with 10 entries per year instead of the 5 you included...

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=687

But as you tend to exclude all kind of genre lists so you'd have to specify the criteria for inclusion...I will come back to you in April when I'll get more time...I'm working now in a ski resort and I'm away from my home and my lists...But to make you wait here is the best of 'em all, a list published a while ago by Mr. Harry Towers, a very important man in Dance Music, and probably one of the most authoritative that I know of...Here's a link:

Bio of Harry Towers http://www.cozycornerradio.com/harry_towers.htm

As Harry says "Dance Music provides the best way to bridge the gaps between peoples. Red, Yellow, Black, White and Brown, Jew, Gentile and Muslim, Gay, Straight, Old or Young, Democrat or Republican, when we share a great time on a Dance Floor side by side our differences are replaced by that common experience which becomes a great big step that leads to mutual respect and understanding!"
