Rolling Stone Argentina also published the same special lists for Luis Alberto Spinetta and Gustavo Cerati. I hope somebody have found it.

It'd be great to find them. I'm surprised there's none for Andrés Calamaro.

That's true. Maybe because he's still making new records.

I found an online version of the Rolling Stone special on Luis Alberto Spinetta which contains the list of his 100 greatest songs. I'll hopefully have time to transcribe the list in the coming weeks. I live in the UK but have been listening in recent time to a lot of Spinetta and Soda Stereo, it's a great shame how they arnt known outside of Latin America really.

Thanks for the find man. And thanks for transcribing it, I would do it myself but I'm rather sick at the moment. Please don't forget to mention the actual act (Almendra, Pescado Rabioso, solo Spinetta, etc.) the song belongs to so Henrik doesn't have to do the research himself.

And yeah, I agree Spinetta and Soda Stereo (and actually García, Calamaro, Páez, etc.) should be more well-known outside Latin America. My opinion has been ever since I discovered the Argentinian scene that it really is rock music's hidden treasure. Those guys are so talented!

No problem, Ill try and transcribe over the weekend.

Agreed, Argentina probably has the best scene outside the UK & US for rock, in my opinion. It would be great if a similar list was found for Gustavo Cerati's work.
