The book is on stefanocarraro's list. Stefano, I hope you are seeing this post. Do you own the book or have the list of songs? It would be another fantastic addition to the AM song list!

Good find- I noticed that there may be some duplicates sprinkled throughout ("Material Girl" is listed both under Madonna's playlist, as well as a "Shop til you drop" playlist; Cher's "believe" is listed under Cher's playlist and another section, etc.) I wonder if duplicates are counted in the 5,000 count (though oftentimes, it's never exactly the number of songs the book touts, especially with a huge number).

I noticed one thing: the version of "My Funny Valentine" in Chet Baker's playlist is the version with Gerry Mulligan, but the solo version does show up in the Great American Songbook playlist.
