^That one well may be a single-critic list- in one of the album commentaries, he uses "me."
Plus, it's one short of the suggested 13.

Re: Beatles Albums, Ranked (Various lists)
Are there any critics' lists that think Abbey Road, my all-time favourite album, is their best?
Re: Beatles Albums, Ranked (Various lists)
Mine too. I'm sure there are but I seem to see some fans lists that have it ranked as their best more than anything. Some of the critics list I've seen have it ranked 2nd.Daniel wrote:Are there any critics' lists that think Abbey Road, my all-time favourite album, is their best?

It's more the populist pick. In a perfect world, it would rank with Revolver and Sgt. Pepper among the best of the best. But some people just can't get too behind it and I don't know why.bootsy wrote:Mine too. I'm sure there are but I seem to see some fans lists that have it ranked as their best more than anything. Re: Beatles Albums, Ranked (Various lists)
My top 3 is
1º Abbey Road
2º Revolver
3º Sgt. Peppers.
I could put Revolver in the first place and Abbey Road is second. I can't eliminate my doubt of what is the better album between the two first of my top.
Magical Mistery Tour isn't masterpiece, but have a great quantity of great tracks that I love much and are some of the best tracks of their, like "Penny Lane", "Strawberry Fields Forever" and "All You Need Is Love".
Rubber Soul is good, but not really great or masterpiece.
My prefer album of the first phase of the Beatles is by far A Hard Day's Night.
