JazzTimes EOY lists: can anyone transcribe?

Post by irreduciblekoan »

I wish jazz were covered more on this site. Obviously adding one more source won't make jazz albums suddenly appear on AM, but still, Henrik seems to care very much for inclusiveness and finding every worthy source out there.

JazzTimes has been a leading jazz publication since the 1970s. As far as I know, they have published EOY lists regularly, at least in recent years. However, their website does not include the full lists. Physical copies of their magazine is needed for that. This would be a great source to add to AM, but sadly I am not subscribed to the magazine. I can at least get the topic started though. If anyone happens to have access to those lists, please share!

PS: It's not really important to me whether these lists are included by Henrik or not. I know it's a lot of work, and it's not like any of the newer jazz albums will make it to AM because of one magazine. So if you don't feel like it, Henrik, I understand. Now, if there are any all-time lists from JazzTimes, that's a different story. Have they ever made any?
