Interesting that three entries on this top 40 list are nowhere to be found on the Mojo top 100 Bowie list: "Modern Love," "All the Young Dudes," and "Wild is the Wind" (the latter, the only track from Station to Station that's not on the Mojo list, is most likely omitted because it's a cover).

I've had Bowie on the brain lately because of the brilliant, recently-closed "David Bowie Is" exhibition at Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art, which I finally visited on its last weekend, so it's great to see these lists. I'm particularly happy to see "Kooks" on both lists - I've always had a real soft spot for that one ("Don't pick fights with the bullies and the cads/'Cause I'm not much cop at punching other people's dads").
