I think it was mentioned that single-critic lists are OK for all-time lists, but not sure if other criteria (i.e. length of list) had to be met. This was from last year.

The surprise for me is Dirty Mind rather than Purple Rain. I know Jim Farber has become a big champion of Madonna's debut, so not surprised to see it here over Like a Prayer.
