✅ Freaky Trigger Top 100 Songs of All Time

Post by JR »

This is a list that started years ago- and just one song remains. :D

Henrik- is this eligible? It's an oddball of a list in many spots, but it does look like it included multiple participants()No. 38, as you'll see, was crossed out and they opened that slot up to readers' choice).

That's an... Interesting list, to say the least... You don't see many lists that mix Sondheim and Bernstein with Madonna with Led Zepp with the Spice Girls... Of course, the main reason you probably want this list to be eligible is because it will help Madonna's song rankings, right?

A peculiar list for sure. But probably eligible. But if #1 is coming soon (#4 was "only" 2 months ago, when were #3 and #2 added?) I probably want to wait for that.

"Tarzan Boy" was the readers' choice? The readers are even more peculiar than the staff then...!?

JimmyJ- yes, I must combat the criminal lack of M songs in the Musikexpress 700!

On a more serious note, two of the Madge songs are ranked pretty high, anyhow, so probably wouldn't do THAT much.

This is one of those lists I had seen previously, but it wasn't near completion, so I lost touch with it. I'm trying to find out when the No. 1 will be revealed.

I've added the list to my spreadsheets, but if they don't add the number one I might not use it in the next update. But when I do, these are the songs that will be added to AM because they were in this list:

Al Green - How Can You Mend a Broken Heart
Amii Stewart - Knock on Wood
Gladys Knight - License To Kill
Janet Kay - Silly Games
Joe Jackson - It's Different for Girls
Stina Nordenstam - Little Star
Tears for Fears - Pale Shelter

Not bad!

Hadn't checked the site in some time, but the No. 1 was revealed- and it's not even one of the act's acclaimed works.

1. PET SHOP BOYS – “Always On My Mind/In My House”
