Quick note - there appears to be a pretty significant error on the RS site (not the fault of granit's transcription): #11 is listed as Parquet Courts' EP Tally All the Things That You Broke, but it's clearly supposed to be Light Up Gold when you go to the screen (the album cover is there, and the text refers to the album). As I assume is the case in the magazine itself.

I really dislike Rolling Stone's lists. I mean John Fogerty at #10?

Out of the top 10 I've listened to 7 albums, and only one I didn't like was AM. So I like the list.

Edit: Lol counted wrong, 5/7 I did like, The National I also didn't like. But I like the list still.

Number 27 is on this list because her boyfriend has connections to Rolling Stone or something like that. I can check it accurately and prove it maybe if someone wants to really know, but I mean who cares really.

Oh, RS. "Work Bitch"? Seriously? And "We Can't Strop" higher than 'Wrecking Ball"?

This list has me rolling on the floor laughing (partly out of sheer glee, and partly out of a sense of genuine embarrassment for RS)! There are sooooo many things that are crazy about this list that it is just wrong. Drake in the top 10? Katy Perry? Miley Cyrus? Lonely Island (funny stuff, don't get me wrong, but seriously?) Out of all the mainstream hits they could have praised, Blurred Lines is relatively low, actually.

Blurred Lines should be higher, given the magazine that did the list. And I would trade We Can't Stop with Wrecking Ball, definitely. And, once again, since we're talking about a RS list, Work Bitch was acceptable, I kinda like the song, even though I didn't expect it that high. But I HATE Roar, and seeing such a predictable, conventional, not imaginative song, with such a common place production at number 18 made me very upset. Drake would be allowed at any Top 10 with Hold On, We're Going Home for me, but not with the clichéd Started From The Bottom. And Hannah Hunt at number 4, with an album who has Step-Diane Young-Ya Hey as singles is really not that good of a choice to represent the magnificent record they belong to. Could be Hudson for me, if it had to be a non-single.
Immerse your soul in love. No matter how it ends, no matter how it starts.
